Our joint venture company with PKN ORLEN has been officially registered

We have joined forces with the largest company in Poland - PKN ORLEN. The company ORLEN Synthos Green Energy, in which both shareholders hold 50% of shares, was registered by the court today. 

The joint action with PKN ORLEN opens a new chapter on the road to the construction of the BWRX-300 fleet in Poland.

UK Government to support BWRX-300 development

Companies, including Synthos Green Energy, are part of a team led by GE-Hitachi which has been awarded a £33.6 million UK Future Nuclear Enabling Fund (FNEF) grant to support development of the BWRX-300 technology.

First potential sites announced

At the the press conference at PKN ORLEN’s headquarters, the first potential sites for the BWRX-300 reactors were presented. These are Ostrołęka, Włocławek, Stawy Monowskie, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Kraków-Nowa Huta, the Tarnobrzeg – Stalowa Wola Special Economic Zone and Warsaw.
